I suggest you ...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

    • Import words from CSV

I understand that your business model needs to keep users' vocab in the system and I don't have a problem with that, but since I have a lot of vocab lists in Anki, Pleco, and ChinesePod, I would like a way of getting those lists into 3000 Hanzi so that I can use 3000Hanzi as my main SRS. CSV import should be easy enough, no?

Thanks for the suggestion. 3000 Hanzi doesn’t need to keep user’s vocab. I was actually waiting for this feature to be requested before implementing it. Now that it has, I can start working on adding it.

          • Cloze deletion of documents creating multiple cards with single clozes (MCD-AJATT)

This functionality would not be my top priority for 3000 Hanzi, however, because 3H focuses on learning vocabulary through reading native texts, it seems like an excellent addition for v2.0. MCD (Massive-context Cloze Deletion) is a study method developed by Khatzumoto at AJATT.com, which focuses on Japanese, but is equally valuable for all languages. He charges $30 for resources with a full explanation and examples, but it's mostly redundant so I will try to summarize here.

The core concept is that you take a few sentences of native text, paste them on the front side of an SRS card and…

            • Chinese Reader: Let me sort the terms list by frequency

I like that you show the terms in each article, but I'm still not sure which terms I should focus on studying. You should add frequency data to the terms so that learners can better understand which words they should focus on in the text.
